You have an impact on the following topics:
As a Software Engineer, you will be working with our growing Track&Map team that is in charge of all tracking and mapping data of millions of parcels. You will drive technical initiatives, design architecture together with your peers, and deliver a reliable scalable product. You will help drive technical evolution together with your team, share knowledge  and learn continuously to enhance your skill sets.
In your daily job you will have a chance to
  • Work with a multitude of data sources, collect and harmonise data
  • Design the architecture of solutions in a distributed microservice environment
  • Detect and act on areas of improvement both in tech and processes
  • Take ownership - also in production (you build it you run it)
  • Work with agile development processes (Scrum, Jira, etc.)
  • Use CI/CD with GitHub (GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
With these skills you complete our team:
  • Expertise in Java, SpringBoot, microservices
  • Expertise in databases, namely MongoDB and MySQL
  • General understanding of queues and event processing
  • Solid grasp of OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Docker and Kubernetes
Optional, but appreciated:
  • Kafka
  • Understanding of Systems design
  • NoSQL databases, e.g. MongoDB
