With additional delivery services such as Claims Center, Insurance, Return Portal and Labels, Seven Senders makes international shipping a simple matter. Automated shipping notifications, tracking and monitoring solutions ensure a transparent shipping process. Monthly reports and analyses enable data-based optimization of international shipping performance. Shippers receive everything from a single source and reduce complexity.

 

You have an impact on the following topics

  • You are responsible for the strategic purchasing process of transport services (FTL, LTL, general cargo).
  • You manage the existing network of transport partners and support the development of our transport solutions.
  • You independently perform price and cost calculations and achieve market-driven prices for us through negotiations.
  • You are responsible for the performance reviews with your partners.
  • You will work closely with our Supply Chain Planning, Freight Forwarding and Parcel Logistics team across teams.
  • You take over projects to optimise and automate processes.
  • You report directly to the Head of Freight Buying.

 

With these skills you complete our team

  • You have completed an apprenticeship in freight forwarding or a dual study program with a focus on logistics.
  • You have sound experience in the purchasing of national and international land transportation.
  • Your up-to-date knowledge of freight rates and your cost awareness help you in your negotiations with forwarders and carriers.
  • You are goal-oriented, stay focused even in a stressful environment and your "can do" attitude helps you to solve tasks efficiently.
  • You have good knowledge of MS-Office products, especially MS-Excel.
  • Your German language skills are on a native level; your English language skills are conversationally fluent.
